The Gospel Story In Colors and Word
To make the story of salvation clear, scriptures are used into the Pastor's own words.
Pastor Jim was told this story as a child (Wordless Book) and used it for many years
in his own clown ministry to tell others about the good news of Jesus Christ.
Over the years Pastor Jim has added colors and put them in an order that makes sense to himself and hopefully, others.
Due to lack of space, the Pastor has limited the story to only the main points.
You are invited to search the scriptures and find out the whole story of God's work in your life.
Enjoy!
Black reminds you of the darkness of sin in our hearts.
The bible tells you, There is none good, no, not one. Romans 3:10
All have sinned and fall short of the goodness of God. Romans 3:23
Sin seperates everyone from God.
Sin leads to death and eternal separation from God.
When evil is done, it gives birth to sin; and sin when it is full grown, brings forth death. James 1:15
Every person must accept the truth, without God, he or she can never have eternal life!

Red reminds you of the Blood that Jesus shed on the cross.
God loved the world so much that He gave His only born son, that whoever believes in Him should not die but have live forever. John 3:16
(God loved you so much that he gave as a gift, His only Son, that if you believe in Jesus, you will go to heaven.)
God did not send His son into the world to punish the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17
God forgives your sins through the blood of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus we have salvation through His blood that was shed for the forgiveness of sins according to His great love. Ephesians 1:7
Your salvation is a gift from God, You cannot buy or earn it. Ephesians 2:8 and 9

Purple reminds you that now is the time of Salvation.
Behold, now is the right time, now is the day of Salvation. 2 Corinthians 5:2
If you are reading this for the first time or have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you need to stop reading and start praying.
Right NOW you can have your sins taken away!
Right NOW you can make Jesus your Lord!
Right NOW you can become a child of God!
All you need do is to pray to Jesus to forgive you of your sins.
Pray this prayer right NOW if you want Jesus to forgive you of your sin!
Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I have sin in my life.
I need you to forgive me of all my sins.
I want to stop all my sin because I love you.
I believe you died for my sins.
I NOW invite You into my heart and life.
I will trust You as Lord and Savior.
I know you have forgiven me and made me Your child.
Thank you Jesus!
Amen.
If you really mean what you just prayed tell your parents, pastor, and everyone in the church.
Now you can read on and finish the story of what it means to be a Child of God.
Welcome to the Family of God!

White reminds you that Jesus makes you clean.
The Lord says, Come now, let us reason together, though your sins be as scarlet (red), they will be as white as snow; even if they are red like crimson (darkest red) they will be as wool. (white) Isaiah 1:18
The true color of sin is red.
That means when the Blood of Jesus Christ covers your sin, God can not see your sin.
Red cancels out red!
So, when God looks at you, He sees a clean person.
The darkness of sin is gone, and the true light now shines in your life. 1 John 1:8

Green reminds you to grow in Christ.
We grow when we attend church, read our Bibles, pray, tell our friends about God,
and try to keep God's Law.
As newborn babies (in Christ) you should want the good milk of the Word that you may grow. 1 Peter 2:2
You grow when when you try to do what is right and not sin.
Go to Church, Sunday School, read your Bible, pray, and live as God wants us to live.
If you sin do not give up!
God will forgive sin if you ask Him!
My little children, these things I write to you, that you sin not. And if you sin, Jesus offered Himself up to God for your sin, and for the sin of the world. 1John 2:1 and 2

Blue reminds you that you must be baptized in Christ.
When you are baptized in Christ you become a full member of God's Church.
Then Peter tells you to be sorry for your sins, and to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and when that is done, you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38
In the First Community Church of Dade City, baptism is done by immersion.
(This means that you go all the way under water and then brought up out of the water. This is done by the pastor.)
Don't you know, you were baptized into Jesus Christ and baptized into his death? So you are to be dead to sin, but alive unto God, because of Jesus Christ our Lord. Roman 6:3-11

Gold reminds you that you are going to Heaven .
For the payment of sin is death, but the gift of God is to live forever. Romans 6:23
One day you will live in the city of gold. Revelations 21:18-21
This city is made with pure gold, pearls, diamonds, rubies, emeralds and other precious gems.
God's glory makes it bright and Jesus is the Light of the City. Revelations 21:23
Heaven has not need of light because God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit live there.
